Jason R. Futko, CA

Jason R. Futko, CA, is a principal in a joint venture with a large United Arab Emirates real estate firm where he is actively involved in the investment decision making process. Mr. Futko is a Senior Managing Director at Newhaven Merchant Bankers ("Newhaven") an international investment bank. He oversees Newhaven's Capital Pool Company and Special Purpose Vehicle Programmes. He is a joint Managing Director of Octavian Growth Partners Limited, which is the general partner to Octavian Growth LP (an alternative investment fund). In addition to managing the fund operations for Octavian, Mr. Futko helps develop the investment vehicle and transaction structuring. Prior to joining Newhaven, he spent many years in corporate consulting and project management, with a focus on restructuring and post-merger integration. He has held numerous positions at large financial institutions where his primary responsibility was the streamlining and re-organization of operations, including those of recently acquired firms. Prior to entering the corporate finance industry, Mr. Futko held several financial positions including as a Manager with PriceWaterhouse Coopers. Jason was educated at the University of Waterloo and is a member in good standing of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. He is a Canadian national and resides in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
