Edwin S. Lee, CA, is a principle in a joint venture with a large United Arab Emirates real estate firm, where he is actively involved in the investment decision making process. Mr. Lee is a joint Senior Managing Director of Newhaven Merchant Bankers ("Newhaven"), an international investment bank. He is, and has been, a director of a number of companies that have utilised the branded investment vehicle product called Phoenician including being a non-executive director of King Tech International Limited (the former Phoenician Corporation III Limited) which is traded on PLUS Markets and which has recently acquired a prominent Chinese road paving company, King Tech Group Limited. Recently, Mr. Lee was Chief Financial Officer of Asia Now Resources Corp. ("Asia Now"), a Toronto TSX Group listed company, involved in mineral exploration in China. Under Mr. Lee's guidance, Asia Now completed a Reverse Takeover of Phoenician Holdings Corp, a Canadian Capital Pool Company ("CPC") listed on the TSX Venture Exchange. He has also been the Chief Financial Officer of PharmEng International Inc. (formerly Chrysalis Capital Corporation, also a CPC) and he is also an officer of Octavian Growth Partners Limited, which is the general partner to Octavian Growth LP (an alternative investment fund). Prior to entering the corporate finance industry Mr. Lee held several financial positions including as a Senior Auditor with Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP and whilst in that capacity supervised audits in a number of industries including Real Estate Investment Trusts. Mr. Lee was educated at the University of Toronto and is a member in good standing of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. He is a Canadian national and resides in Hong Kong.
